Community Lifestyles provides a range of services and programs to help clients develop and improve social interaction, personal growth and facilitate learning opportunities that have a positive impact on their lives, as well as the lives of family and friends.
Our programs integrate social activities, sport, community involvement and living skills with accommodation, tenancy and respite assistance.
We have a strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes for our clients with compassion, equity, accountability and excellence in service.
Accommodation
Community Lifestyles provides group accommodation and in-home services for adults with intellectual disabilities who require assistance in their daily living. Staff are on hand to meet the needs of each individual while acknowledging their self-determination, dignity, and personal interests.
Through our accommodation, clients enjoy security, safety and independence in a long-term, permanent home atmosphere. We also have daily opportunities for personal growth, social development and community involvement.
In-Home Support
With our in-home support service there is a strong emphasis on customised, personalised care and assistance for each individual based on needs and personal preference, whilst living independently, in group accommodation setting, or a family home.
In-home support facilitates skills development, interpersonal communication, personal care and hygiene, health and nutrition, meal planning, pet care, shopping, domestic duties and home management, money management, home and personal safety and security, social and recreational activities, respite and more.
Community Programs
Our Community Programs include Day Options and Recreation activities.
Day Options is a program that includes a range of daily activities at The Cottage on Maurice Road in Murray Bridge, as well as community outings. The program encourages people with a disability to develop their full potential and experience rewarding interaction with others.
Our Recreation service offers leisure and social interaction for our clients who wish to participate in community activities.
Adult Respite
Community Lifestyles' Adult Respite gives families a break from their regular caring commitments, and provides adults with a disability the opportunity to make new friends, enjoy personal development and have fun through participation in various activities and outings.
Children's Respite

Referrals
Referral to Community Lifestyles programs and services is often through Disability SA, Home and Community Care, Southern Carers Association or other services.
Upon referral, a Community Lifestyles Coordinator will meet with clients and their families to determine needs, complete an introduction to the organisation, and receive an overview of our standard organisational policies and procedures.
